"Results speak and there is excitement abrewing in Scumlandia as the Scumdogs beat Dirty Mike by 20 points, were the top scoring team on the week and that is in the face of pure duds from Hill and Higgins. Now, we could have a potential issue with Bowers getting injured, but the Scumdogs have potentially lucked into Rookie Fannin and 2 year vet Strange (both waiting to be called up from the taxi squad). Fannin was a show out even with Njoku on the filed last week so the Scumdogs feel like he can fill in if need be. So right now, the Scumdogs are for real and atop the rankings until they do something stupid."
"Here we go again, it's looking like the Scumdogs will be in the top 3 for yet another season. In a week where scoring was down across the board (I believe there were only a small handful of non-QB players that scored over 20 points on the week), the dogs found a way to score over 125 points and be the #1 scorer on the week, which speaks volume to the quality of this starting roster. However, depth is definitely this team's biggest weakness (well, other than maybe Tyreek Hill). An injury or late season slide for any of this team's starters could be detrimental to another championship push."
"With a stellar performance and knocking off the defending champions, The Fuzzy Logic is coming in at #2 where they were also the 2nd highest scoring team on the week.
Rookie Sampson showed out, but will need to keep up that receiving work. Another rookie in Warren proved to be a potential dominant TE long term (while Hockenson put up 3 measly points) and another great find for the Logic. This team is young and that could ultimately be the crux of their season, but for now they already started taking names."
"Okay, I know Fuzzy Logic isn't actually the second best team in the league, but let me have this one, okay? It appears that while Fuzzy didn't draft or acquire any true superstars in the offseason (Tyler Warren might become that, though), this team surprised with a handful of quality dart throws to complete *the* upset of week 1. The best part? This team did it with Mahomes at QB instead of Fields.
Now, I know it's a long season, and this is likely going to be the highest this team ranks all year, but there's this feeling of optimism about this team's 2025 season (and beyond) that wasn't there before. All that's left is to hope the question marks on this team that performed in week 1 continue to perform/develop all season."
"How the mighty have Fallen - but only to #3. Yes, this is the highest ranked team with a losing record. NGB scored the 4th most points (by less than a point) and lost to one of 3 teams that could have beaten them on the week. Its hard to knock them too far down because of that. The difference in this game ended up being that BUM Chase, slacker Kraft and old man Evans who all went under 10 points (Chase under 5) and not pulling their weight. But, with 4 guys on his bench that went over 10 points, NGB has a lot of room to maneuver and replace weak links. Will their record ultimately come down to how good they are at managing the starting line-up based on matchups, or are they simply too powerful and will be a force to be reconned with week after week."
"Rough first week for NotGreatBob, but let's be real, if Chase had an average game for Chase's standards, this team would have won handily and stayed in the top 3. NGB will be fine. I fully expect a bounce back next week, and it won't be long before this team reclaims their spot in the top tier of the rankings."
"Lookie Lookie, the ShivaBlast staying near the top of the rankings and coming in at #4 this week. King Henry went on a rampage and put up over 30 points while Rookie Egbuka (Campaign to get Egbuka and Puka on the same roster - to the Scumdogs where they belong) put on a show with over 20 points. Lamb, Kyren and Kelce also put up good numbers and it didn't matter in the long run that Worthy was murdered by his own teammate in a power play move and put up the golden goose-egg! Shiva Shiva Shiva - My favorite team to finish as the runner up in the championship game!"
"Much like the Tater Tots (at my #3 spot), this week's ranking doesn't tell the whole story as ShivaBlasts left so many points on the bench. This team is loaded and dangerous. Zay Flowers looks the best he's ever looked on an NFL field, King Henry is still HIM, Kyren looked fairly good against a potential top 5 defense (especially against the run), Egbuka looks like OROY material, CeeDee was a few drops away from having a probable #1 WR finish, and Rodgers appears to have found the fountain of youth. Obviously there are a few under achievers on this roster, but if the high end talent continues to perform at the level they did in week 1, Shiva has time to let the underachievers figure it out."
"The number 3 scoring team in the league and a 1-0 record, you ask why this team is sitting at the #6 position and it is because they have some major questions marks.
Their victory was willed upon them by the amazing Josh Allen who scored 43 points on the week, but the problem is that was nearly 40% of their points and you can't win consistently when 5 of your starters put up under 10 points.
So, Kudos to a great victory, you are in the top 6. Question becomes, are you for real or are you a fluke?"
"Man, the tater tots are only sitting at #3 on my rankings instead of #1 because they left so many points on the bench. I guess it doesn't really matter though since this team managed #3 in scoring on the week and won a tight game all while learning the truth about who should and shouldn't be starting on this roster. It's a good thing (in a vacuum) Javonte, Odunze, and Coleman all passed the eye test while on the bench as they will need to step up while Kittle recovers from his hamstring injury."
"Always amazing, always making moves and when you think that they are going to be rebuilding for years to come they tell you No No No and are back to the top of the rankings for 2025. Burrow was sub par but CMC, Deebo and Wilson carried this team to victory. A mix of young and old. The question will come down to weather a Calf injury is going to crop up and ruin a season. Also, is Kupp washed? Is Andrews Washed? Is Golden going to be any good? Let's see if these questions answer themselves in week 2."
"There are so many question marks that CodyCast needs to figure out. Can CMC hold up to this level of usage? Can Johnny Taylor play without getting hurt? Did Deebo have his best game of season already? Is Kupp cooked? Can Golden actually do anything? Was Fields for real, and will Wilson continue to eat or will he fall on his face soon? Can Cody find a replacement for Andrews? Are the Lions cooked and Gibbs will now be a RB2 at best? Will Burrow be boom/bust based on how poor his offensive line looked? That being said, the potential is there on this roster, and it will be interesting to see how Cody addresses these over the rest of the season."
"Breaking 100 points and losing is always tough, but Dirty Mike has his boys ready to go and they are not counting themselves out of it. Mayfield and Bijan combined for over 50 points in a tough matchup against the Scumdogs.
They do have a couple of lingering questions which need answered before they can work themselves up as true playoff contenders. Can Nico thrive when the QB cannot have enough time to get him the ball? Can Pacheco angrily run himself back to relevance or is he going to just be in a 3 man rotation all year? Will Drake London keep playing or is he going to be on the sideline with an injury and, do they have a replacement for Tyrone Tracy who had himself a McRib problem?"
"Down games from Nico, London, and BTjr really hampered this team's performance this week. Considering all those guys are elite, it's hard to imagine they will continue to perform poorly all season. Getting average games from these players compared to their talent level and all of a sudden this starting roster will be scoring over 120 points a week instead of barely over 100 points. HartyPGA needs to find replacements for Pacheco and Tracy on this starting roster, though, as both players looked BAD on Sunday."
"The Delta Squad is at #9 but this ranking might be too low figuring they really only lost because Josh Allen went Superman. They still scored over 100 points and if they can keep that up they will be in the thick of things all year long.
Barkley and Cook both looked good. Harrison looks like he might have leveled up. Running 2 TEs when their second TE is only catching 5 yard passes definitely did not help them this week. Maybe next week they'll start QJ who, in hindsight, would have given them the victory if they took Fergie out of the starting lineup."
"Here's the harsh truth for Delta Squad: if OneTyrell had just played Love over Lawrence or played QJuge over Ferguson, they would be ranked much higher than they are. This team has potential as is appears some of the players that were previously high floor/low ceiling players might have finally raised their ceiling. If correct start/sit decisions are made more consistently, this could easily be the lowest Delta Squad is ranked all season."
"I had a hard time ranking Pads this week as they did, indeed, win their game but they scored less than 3 other teams who all had losses and they played 1 of only 3 teams that they could have beaten on the week. But, a win is a win and that's something that 6 other teams in the league currently do not have. Pads put up a respectable 95 points but were held back by extremely poor QB play (Tua) and some struggling WRs in Olave and Adams and Ridley and rookie TMc.
But, we all know that those guys are capable of putting up a lot better numbers and that makes Pads dangerous. "
"Oh man, Get Out might be in a slight pickle. Tua looked toast, Kaleb Johnson got all his points this week on kick return yards, the Panthers looked BAD even though Tet looked amazing, and Ridley, Olave, and Adams, while all getting huge volume, looked a bit off for different reasons. Pads has to do some soul searching to figure out if this was all a one week hiccup or if the down performances are here to stay. One the plus side, ETN looked GREAT in the new Jags offense, Pitty City looks back and better than ever, Kincaid looks legit involved, and Get Out won this week."
"A team that looks like they could destroy any opponent on any given week but who happened to under perform in week 1. AJ Brown is a beast and cannot be held to 1 catch every week, he will bounce back. Hunter is a rookie and learning, but White seems to have disappeared. There is promise on the bench, but can they duplicate. JCM could potentially be The Man this year, um, i guess that is where it ends. Sub JCM for White and get AJ Brown 2 catches and Scotch could have beaten the ShivaBlasts. It was that close folks."
"This team failed to perform for two main reasons. 1. some rookies on this roster just didn't live up to the hype/expectation. 2. AJ Brown's dud of a game. If these things course correct themselves and ScotchnWhiskers actually starts Bill, things could be different very quickly for this team. I expect them to be much higher in the rankings very soon."
"Not last place is the Golfers. Herbert came out gunslinging with nearly 50% of the teams points, going for nearly 34. Hampton is a rookie and showed some promise and could be a force by the end of the year. But, with no RB 2 on the team and Meyers as the WR 1 (13 points) the team has a lot of question marks and probably needs to sit and develop for a bit longer.
Let's give the stew more time to simmer."
"Justin Herbert save the putters from being in last place for me. He looks ELITE this year and performed as such. The rookies on this roster, while slightly disappointing, just need some time to grow. Oh, and Meyers looks like a solid WR2. The concerns are vast, though. This team has no good option for their RB 2 spot, and most of the flex options are PAINFUL."
"There is nothing Prestigious about this ranking and this team laid the biggest stinker in the league for week 1. Dak sucked, JaMo couldn't get anything going, Engram might be taking part of the season off, DJ Moore fumbled away points (probably lost his grip from the fingernail polish on the ball). Well. It might be early, but there is always next year. Time to get some Draft Capital and start scheming."
"What a BAD week for Prestige Worldwide. Almost no one starting on this roster met or exceeded expectations (somehow, Kavontae Turpin is that lone exception). Lwinman has a lot of soul searching to do as they need to put something together while waiting on the Addison and Rice suspensions to play out. On the plus side, Ayomanor looked good in his NFL debut, Boutte looked excellent, and Mason passed the eye test even if he didn't perform for fantasy."
